In March 2023, Georgia had the honor to be an official host at ITB Berlin, thus impressing exhibition visitors with generosity and flair when it came to welcoming guests at its stand and organizing an opening concert and the grand reception for 3000 people. For the first time in ITB Berlin history, Georgia was in the world's tourism stage spotlight and hosted exhibitors under a catchy and honest motto: "Infinite Hospitality."
Occupying a central position in Hub27, all eyes were on the Georgian pavilion, where expo visitors were invited to taste Georgia's delicious traditional foods and wines. The stand was centered around a circular core where chefs served local delicacies, including goat cheese and Georgian dumplings known as Khinkali, accompanied by various Georgian wines. At the same time, Georgian artisans showcased their talents with workshops taking place throughout the three-day event. The exciting program included culinary master classes, silk painting, clay painting, stained glass painting, and a calligraphy master class.
